Wall Coating Procedure
1. Full wall inspection carried out
to check for damp or water penetration.
This allows us to asses the suitability
of our product for your home. Under
certain circumstances repairs may
need to be carried out before our
wall coating can be applied.
2 . Good surface preparation is important
before any paint or coating job. With
masonry, certain aspects need special
attention, such as alkalinity, porosity,
and the tendency to form efflorescence. The
coating surface must be clean and
sound, so that the solution can adhere
properly to the surface. This requires
thourough cleaning to remove any dust,
dirt, flaking paint, or other loose
material.
3 . AquaSEAL elastomeric wall coatings
are applied in thick films this provides
the best stretch and crack bridging
capability. The typical application
procedure is to use either an airless
spray followed by back rolling, or
a long nap roller or brush for smaller
areas.
4 . The AquaSEAL elastomeric wall
coatings have a satin finish. They
can be tinted and while white is most
popular, soft pastels and subtle earth
tones are often chosen as decorative
options.
